Who can apply
Independent musicians aged 18 or over and based in England, making their own original music: solo artists, duos and bands of up to five. Every member of a duo or band must be 18 or over, and you must have their permission to apply for the act. All genres welcome.
Original, human-created music only
No covers and no AI-generated music, vocals or lyrics. Normal recording, editing, tuning, mixing and mastering tools are fine.
What selected acts receive
One original song recorded, mixed and mastered at La Vie Studio, a professionally filmed live-room performance, songwriting workshops with established professional songwriters, a paid, filmed and livestreamed showcase (£200 performance fee), an EPK and practical career guidance.

What the application asks
Stage 1 is the application and a listening link to an original song, demo or work in progress. No audio uploads. The form covers:
- Your act and contact details
- Your socials and online profiles
- Your music and what you want to develop
- Access and taking part
- Check and confirm
